Currently Ottawa County’s Undersheriff, Eric DeBoer has rendered more than two decades of service as a law enforcement professional with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

 

As a community policing deputy, detective, member of the interagency WEMET drug team, and a sergeant with supervisory responsibilities, Undersheriff DeBoer has the background, skills, knowledge, and drive to serve our county as its next sheriff.

 

Eric DeBoer is a graduate of Kalamazoo Valley Police Academy. He has earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Calvin University and his Masters of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University.

 

Eric and his wife Hillary are residents of Park Township where they are raising their two children and attend Harderwyk Ministries.
